The municipal company Reus Transport has confirmed the purchase of four electric minibuses to be deployed in January 2027, enhancing the Bus x tu on-demand service in Reus.

This expansion will serve the Aigüesverds and Blancafort neighborhoods, as well as the Monterols Tennis Club. The main connection point with the city's transport network will be located at the Xavier Amorós Central Library stop.

"In March 2023 we launched the Bus x tu on-demand service and now, three years later, we have acquired electric buses to expand this system."

The contract, awarded to Yutong Spain Holdco for 2,060,000 euros, includes vehicle maintenance for ten years. These 7-meter long buses offer a 170-kilometer range and full accessibility for up to 30 passengers.
