Reus's new asphalt plan will allocate €535,111.91 to renovate the pavement of seven important city streets, with an execution period of two and a half months.

A new phase of the Asphalt Plan is set to begin shortly in Reus, involving an investment of €535,111.91 to improve street surfaces. The works, awarded to the UTE CCDL Baix Camp-Tarragonès, will take two and a half months to complete from the signing of the site survey report.
The project will focus on repaving several key locations. Specifically, work will be carried out on General Moragues street; on Pere Cerimoniós avenue (both the Villarroel and Costa Brava sections); on President Macià and Vidal i Barraquer avenues; on Sunyer promenade, and on Terol street.
The tasks involve repairing the existing pavement, milling the road surface, and applying a new asphalt layer. The aim is to eliminate cracks and potholes, thereby enhancing overall traffic conditions on the affected routes.
These interventions are part of the public road maintenance master plans, which include annual actions across various areas such as asphalting, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, children's play areas, gardening, and lighting.
