The Catalan Fire Department responded this February 13 to a major fire in the Mas de Riera area of Reus, which destroyed several heavy vehicles and cars.

The emergency call was received at 11:07 AM, prompting the mobilization of ten fire engines. The blaze broke out in a parking area, creating a massive smoke column visible from across Reus.
The fire completely destroyed four trailers and eight cars, while another truck sustained partial damage. Strong winds from Storm Nils hindered the firefighting operations, though crews successfully brought the fire under control by midday.
