The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a man and a woman in Reus as alleged perpetrators of four arson incidents in Baix Camp, which burned just over 600 square meters.

The incidents date back to April 18th, when the first fire of an agricultural vehicle occurred in Vilanova d'Escornalbou. Subsequently, on the afternoon of April 23rd, three more fires were consecutively registered in forest areas in l'Argentera, Pratdip, and Colldejou.
The Mossos d'Esquadra, along with the Agents Rurals, identified seven ignition points for the fires. Although the burned area was approximately 600 square meters, the potential risk of spread was very high, estimated at up to 5,000 hectares.
This is not the first arrest related to fires for these two individuals. On May 5th, they were previously detained for another incident involving the burning of a truck in Móra d'Ebre.
