The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a man and a woman in Baix Camp for their alleged involvement in four fires. The incidents occurred between April 18th and April 23rd, affecting an agricultural vehicle and forest land.

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) arrested a man and a woman on Wednesday in Reus, allegedly responsible for four fires in the Baix Camp region. The first incident occurred on April 18th, when an agricultural vehicle was set on fire in Vilanova d’Escornalbou.
They are also accused of three further forest fires in l’Argentera, Pratdip, and Colldejou, which took place consecutively on the afternoon of April 23rd. Rural Agents and the Mossos detected seven fire outbreaks, burning just over 600 square meters, despite having a potential fire risk of up to 5,000 hectares.
It is noteworthy that on May 5th, the same individuals were previously arrested for another fire, this time for burning a truck in Móra d’Ebre.
