The fire alert was received at 06:17 AM at number 18 of Alcalde Pascual Street, at the Cabo Norte company warehouse. A total of 17 ground units of the Firefighters quickly deployed to the industrial area of Reus.

Personnel confirmed that the flames were localized at the back of the industrial warehouse, where they incinerated several cold storage rooms and some machinery. The intensity of the fire caused the roof of the premises to practically collapse.

Due to the large and intense smoke plume generated, and the proximity of several homes at the rear of the factory, preventive confinement was requested for nearby residents. No injuries have been reported.

The Firefighters prioritized action from the exterior using the aerial ladder to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby warehouses or adjacent homes, achieving stabilization shortly after 10:00 AM.
