The Bombers de la Generalitat controlled the fire affecting the roof of a food company in Reus on Sunday, January 18, but the operation continues to extinguish difficult-to-access interior hot spots.

After completely cooling the roof of the industrial warehouse, the Bombers de la Generalitat personnel shifted their focus to the ground floor of the building in Reus, following the control of the upper fire.
Access to this area is being achieved through a hole opened in the facade, as the interior contains several rooms with large accumulations of rubble. Hot spots are still being detected beneath these debris, significantly complicating the extinguishing efforts.
The operation remains active with a total of five fire crews, who plan to thoroughly inspect the interior of the food company over the next few hours. The objective is to ensure there are no flare-ups and to declare the fire completely extinguished. Currently, no injuries have been reported in the incident.
