Around one hundred people, called by the Housing Union (Sindicat d’Habitatge), protested Tuesday afternoon in Badalona against the eviction of the B9 Institute, raising anti-racist slogans.

The gathering, initially planned for Badalona's Plaça de la Vila, had to be moved to Francesc Layret street after demonstrators found access blocked by a significant police presence.
During the event, organized by the Sindicat d’Habitatge, various slogans were chanted and banners displayed with messages such as ‘Let's organize as a class, let's end racism’ and ‘Against their racism, let's unite’.
Calls against fascism and racism were constant, including direct messages like ‘Racist Albiol, you are a fascist,’ referring to the city's mayor, Xavier García Albiol.
The protest later moved towards the former site of the B9, where it was estimated that approximately one hundred people planned to spend the night sleeping rough as a measure of extreme protest against the eviction.
