The Baix Ebre Regional Council detected minor landslides along several sections of the Via Verda (Greenway), leading to the signposting of risk areas due to moisture saturation in the slopes following recent rains.

Following an "exhaustive review" of the infrastructure, the regional body proceeded to clean the affected areas. These minor landslides are primarily attributed to the accumulation of rain over the past few months and the resulting "moisture saturation in the slope materials."
The technical services and the brigade of the Baix Ebre Regional Council conduct "periodic monitoring" of the Via Verda to ensure user safety and track the stability of vulnerable points.

Citizens are recommended to use the route with caution, respect the preventive signage, and avoid making the journey if meteorological conditions are adverse.

Despite the preventive measures, the regional body emphasizes caution. According to the Council, the route "is fully passable" as of February 3, 2026, but users must exercise extreme care.
