Construction work on the Shopping Promenade Lleida commercial park continues in the Torre Salses area, between the neighborhoods of La Bordeta and Els Mangraners. Currently, work is underway in the upper part of the land, where plots for new commercial facilities are being leveled. Excavators and heavy trucks are moving tons of earth, which is being accumulated outside the complex's premises.
This earthmoving complements the tasks carried out in the lower section for weeks, where the concrete base for a large supermarket has already been completed. Since early June, a significant presence of backhoes, trucks, and workers has marked the activity in the area.
The objective of this extensive construction activity is for Lleida's first commercial park, Shopping Promenade, to be inaugurated by the end of 2027. The complex, which will cover approximately 56,000 square meters, is planned to include around 120 stores, a parking area with capacity for 2,300 vehicles, cinemas, bars, and other services. The total investment for the works amounts to 145 million euros.
