The Decentralized Municipal Entity of Campredó will organize its first urban mile race on February 22, joining the Baix Ebre regional circuit with the introduction of an inclusive race category.

The event, jointly promoted with the Baix Ebre Sports Council (Consell Esportiu del Baix Ebre), is supported by the Club Atletisme Terres de l’Ebre, the Club Ciclista Campredó, and the Unió Esportiva Campredó. This race will become the fourth fixture on the regional calendar, following those already held in Tortosa, El Perelló, and Jesús.
The main innovation of the day is the inclusion of an inclusive race, open to individuals with intellectual disabilities and reduced mobility, with distances adapted to the physical capabilities of the participants. The remaining races will follow standard categories, including cadets, infants, youth, veterans, absolute, and various junior levels.

"The goal is for the event to become a true sports festival and consolidate it within the annual Baix Ebre calendar."

Ramón Zaragoza · Sports Councillor of Campredó
The route will pass through several streets in the town of Campredó. The Sports Councillor, Ramón Zaragoza, emphasized the importance of the inclusive race, which is inspired by the work carried out locally by the Fundació Mercè Pla in favor of quality and fully inclusive education.
