The Deltebre City Council has launched a 389,461 euro project this week to fully renovate the l'Aube football field, with works expected to last two months.

The upgrade includes replacing the artificial turf and modernizing the entire sports complex. Key improvements feature the rehabilitation of changing rooms, new seating for the stands, an updated sound system, and the installation of video surveillance. The project aims to provide better conditions for local athletes in the Baix Ebre region.

"This investment fulfills our commitment to ensure clubs have modern, safe facilities adapted to their needs."

During construction, UE Jesús i Maria will play their matches in Sant Jaume d'Enveja. Once finished, the council will also replace the turf at the municipal Camp Nou. The total investment for both fields reaches 670,544 euros, mostly funded by regional grants from PUOSC and sports infrastructure plans.
