L'Ametlla de Mar celebrates 20 years of the Cala de l'Ametlla Theater Festival

The event commemorates two decades with a lineup featuring theater companies from across Southern Catalonia.

The town of L'Ametlla de Mar kicks off the 20th Cala de l'Ametlla Theater Festival this Sunday at the Sala de la Societat, marking two decades of local performing arts.

The festival begins on March 15th at 6:30 PM with the play Els llogaters de la Lilí by Companyia Delta Teatre. It will be followed on March 22nd by the comedy Ma sogra és increïble performed by Grup de Teatre Gresol.
Throughout April, the event will host three major performances by groups from L'Hospitalet de l'Infant, Amposta, and El Morell, showcasing the diversity of the regional theater scene every Sunday at 6:30 PM.
The final stage in May will be led by the host organization, Grup Escènic de la SCER. The festival will conclude on May 17th with a double feature including a children's play and the classic An Enemy of the People.
