Following the established government agreement, the council has formalized the configuration of the organizational chart and the distribution of management areas. This reorganization, involving a coalition between ERC, PSC, and Entesa, aims primarily to consolidate ongoing projects and ensure institutional stability until the end of the term.
The current mayor, in addition to their own functions, will directly assume responsibilities for Urban Planning. The core of the government will be complemented by four deputy mayoralties, which will divide the major areas of municipal management. The first deputy mayoralty will include portfolios for Strategic Planning, Governance, Emergency Services, Mobility, and Fishing.
The second deputy mayoralty will manage crucial areas for the municipality's projection, such as Education, Tourism, and Commerce, in addition to Culture and Catalan Language. The third deputy mayoralty will be responsible for economic and labor areas, with departments for Finance, Environment, Training, and Employment. Finally, the fourth deputy mayoralty will oversee Works and Services, Urbanizations, and Festivities.
Within the municipal organizational chart, the more social and internal councilorships have been assigned to two team members. One will manage Welfare and Health, Senior Citizens, Sports, and Equality. The other member will assume responsibilities for Youth, Human Resources, and Media.
“"It is necessary to manage the day-to-day, define all these projects stalled due to lack of budget, and stand by the people to make La Cala the great town we deserve."
The mayor emphasized that one of the primary objectives they are working on is the approval of the municipal budget, with confidence that it can become a reality shortly.
