L'Ampolla Celebrates Cap Roig Festivities with Music and Crafts

L'Ampolla, in the Baix Ebre region, welcomes a week full of cultural and leisure activities, highlighting the Cap Roig Festivities with a diverse program for all audiences.

The schedule of activities in l'Ampolla begins tomorrow, Wednesday, with a concert by Piccoli Cantori di San Francesco in Plaça Catalunya, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The following day, Thursday, will be dedicated to sports with a guided Snorkeling session at Capellans beach, including necessary equipment and wetsuits, with two sessions scheduled between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
Starting Friday, August 21st, the focus shifts to the Cap Roig urbanization for the commencement of its local festivities, organized by the Associació Cap Roig with the support of the L'Ampolla Town Council. The celebration will kick off with a Zumba session at Cap Roig beach. In the evening, at 8:30 PM, the square in Carrer Tramuntana will feature food trucks and music, followed by a concert by Miquel Rullo at 10:00 PM.
On Saturday, the festivities will continue with craft activities and a petanque tournament. The night will culminate at Cap Roig beach with a traditional Catalan song performance (havaneres) by the group Balandra, followed by a fireworks display. On Sunday, a children's party with Mag Sebas will mark the end of the urbanization's program.
Concurrently, on Saturday, Plaça Catalunya and the pedestrian zone of l'Ampolla will host another edition of the Craft Market, which will include workshops designed for the entire family.
