The event aims to highlight the alliance between the social movement and the scientific community that was crucial in halting the Ebro water transfer in 2004. The day will begin with a morning scientific and technical meeting, focusing on analyzing the main challenges in water management, including the effects of drought, hydrological planning, and the impact of climate change on river ecosystems.

In the afternoon, at 7 PM, the Didactic Hall of the Tortosa Museum will host the public roundtable discussion titled ‘Shared Struggles, Future Challenges‘. This debate, moderated by journalist Sílvia Berbís, will bring together representatives from river defense platforms and organizations across the country, as well as prominent figures like Pedro Arrojo and Narcís Prat.

The gathering will serve to share experiences, diagnoses, and strategies for addressing the current challenges faced by rivers and their associated ecosystems, strengthening collaboration among various stakeholders.
