The Tarragona Provincial Council is implementing a 1.3 million euro project to install and renovate safety barriers on various local roads, aiming to enhance user protection.

This initiative, with a budget of 1,322,745.08 euros, focuses on installing new metallic safety barriers and modernizing existing containment systems. Additionally, it includes the removal of elements that could pose a hazard near the roadway, such as culvert crossings and drainage manholes.
Recently, renovation and new barrier installation works have been completed on the TV-3541 road, connecting Paüls to Xerta. The primary goal of this action has been to reinforce vehicle containment systems to ensure greater safety for all drivers and passengers using this route.
During April, similar work is also being carried out on the TP-7401 road, which runs from Porrera to the N-420. This phase of the project involves obstacle removal and the installation or renovation of safety barriers. These works are expected to conclude by early May.
