The Terres de l'Ebre region bids farewell to April with an intense agenda of activities that invite visitors to enjoy culture and festivities. From cinematic proposals to traditional celebrations, the municipalities in the area are preparing to welcome guests with a diverse offering.
Among the highlighted events, l'Ampolla hosts the Frame Film Festival on April 24th and 25th, featuring screenings of national short films. For lovers of Italian culture, Tivenys celebrates the fifth edition of FirArrels from April 24th to 26th, with gastronomic demonstrations, music, and a Venetian party.
Major festivals are also prominent. Mas de Barberans celebrates its main festivities from April 24th to May 2nd, with parades, popular meals, and performances by orchestras such as Welcome Band and Mediterrànea. Meanwhile, Horta de Sant Joan and Corbera d'Ebre also have their April festivals scheduled, with activities ranging from card tournaments to processions and quick painting competitions.
Gastronomy plays an important role with the Rice and Commerce Fair of l'Aldea, celebrating its 20th anniversary on April 25th and 26th, and the Primavera DO Terra Alta in Gandesa, from April 23rd to 25th, featuring wine tastings and concerts. In Amposta, the 9th Foodtrucks Festival, on April 25th and 26th, will offer a wide culinary variety and a classic car rally.
Other events include the XXXV Sant Marc Festival in Corbera d'Ebre on April 25th, with a solidarity vermouth and popular lunch, and the 4th Swing Day in Ulldecona on April 26th, with live music and dancing. Finally, Alcanar promotes En Ruta pel Rocall on April 24th, a cultural proposal that fuses art, literature, and gastronomy, and Móra d'Ebre hosts the XL Trobada gegantera (Giants Gathering) on April 26th.
