The Tortosa City Council officially approved this February the projects to reorganize Rambla de Felip Pedrell and build a new bike lane connecting the market to the river.

The local government has finalized the plans to open Tortosa to the Ebro river. The Rambla de Felip Pedrell project, costing 289,431 euros, features a new roundabout at Passeig de Ribera to improve traffic flow in a historically congested area.
A second project involves a 251,835 euro bike lane linking the municipal market to the Val de Zafan Greenway. This development includes green buffers and reorganized parking spaces to ensure no loss of public parking capacity.
Supported by the Diputació de Tarragona, these actions are part of a larger 856,160 euro riverfront transformation plan that will also include new leisure areas and kiosks along the left bank.
