The Catalan Government has announced a total investment of 73.5 million euros for the Terres de l'Ebre region in 2026, marking a 30.3% increase from previous accounts.

The most significant allocation is the 19.9 million euros dedicated to the expansion of the Verge de la Cinta Hospital in Tortosa. This project is part of a broader strategy focusing on public health, waste management, and road infrastructure across the four southern counties.
While Baix Ebre receives the largest share with 35.7 million euros, other areas like Ribera d'Ebre and Montsià will see substantial growth in funding for projects such as the C-12 highway improvements and the Mas de Barberans waste treatment plant.
