The Remolins trade fair pavilion in Tortosa will host, this Thursday, the third edition of the Job Fair +45, a key event for senior talent.

The Job Fair +45, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa with the support of the City Council and the Campus Terres de l'Ebre of the URV, opens its doors between 9:15 AM and 2:15 PM. The main objective is to highlight the talent, experience, and capacity for reinvention of individuals over 45, although participation is open to everyone.
The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Pilar Caballé, highlighted that the event facilitates connections between companies and experienced talent, creating future opportunities for job seekers. Attendees can visit the stands of collaborating companies and institutions that need to fill positions.
The managing director of the Chamber of Commerce, Francesc Minguell, emphasized the importance of employment for the progress of the Terres de l'Ebre region, calling for the promotion of continuous training and the connection of talent with companies. This year, the fair will feature the participation of 41 companies, surpassing the previous edition, which attracted over 700 visitors and generated more than 330 job opportunities.
The event will include various talks on professional experience, personal branding, and professional value, as well as a round table on business expectations. The main conference will be led by mountaineer Òscar Cadiach, titled 'What is your Everest? We all have a mountain to climb,' serving as an example of perseverance.
The municipal service Tortosa Activa will also be present at the fair, encouraging participation, especially from individuals over 45 seeking employment, career advancement, or looking to start new projects. The ultimate goal is for the fair to contribute to creating new projects and contracts, making Tortosa a city with more quality employment.
The mayor, Mar Lleixà, emphasized that despite society's current focus on youth, human capital with solid career paths and life and professional experience is fundamental and valuable for many successful projects.
