Approximately 200 people marched through the streets of Tortosa this Sunday, March 8th, to mark International Women's Day and protest against fascism and social discrimination.

Organized by the feminist group Males Herbes, the demonstration started at plaça del Mercat despite unstable weather. The participants focused on the specific struggles of trans identities and immigrant women, carrying banners with the slogan No passaran (They shall not pass).
The event included the participation of the Castellers de Tortosa (human tower builders) and followed a week of workshops and activities aimed at promoting gender equality and fighting against ethnic and social prejudice in the Baix Ebre region.
