The incident occurred around 4:45 PM for reasons that are still under investigation. One of the affected individuals was quickly rescued and attended to by health services. The other two were trapped in the rubble and required extrication by emergency teams.
The two people rescued from the building's debris suffered multiple traumas and, once freed, were transferred to the Emergency Medical System (SEM) for assistance. Five units from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Generalitat Firefighters) were dispatched to the scene.
Following the rescue, firefighters, along with the municipal architect, have begun a technical inspection of the property. Drones were used to examine unstable areas, and an external review was conducted with a ladder truck to determine the extent of the damage and the structural integrity.
Initial observations suggest that the area affected by the collapse is not extensive. However, it has not yet been determined whether the incident has compromised the building's overall structure or the exact causes of the partial collapse.
