The L'Aldea council, located in Baix Ebre, has greenlit the municipal budget for 2026, exceeding 5.7 million euros, coinciding with the start of rehabilitation works on the Les Pageses building.

The approval of the municipal budget for the 2026 fiscal year sets the figure at 5,739,357.25 euros. This amount reflects the economic planning of the L'Aldea City Council to cover current expenses and planned investments for the coming year.
Simultaneously, the council has started rehabilitation works on the building popularly known as Les Pageses. This structure, located within the municipality's old railway complex, will be recovered for a new public use.
In the urban planning sphere, Mayor Xavier Royo defended the future bus station, and the City Council announced it will file allegations against the Special Urban Plan that foresees the implementation of a biogas plant in polygon 32.
