The L'Aldea Town Council has begun repairing several municipal roads severely affected by the floods recorded between October 28 and November 10, 2024 to ensure rural mobility.

"we have started a new phase of repairing municipal roads damaged by the floods. We are doing everything possible to fix the most affected ones, as we have endured several damages these months, with significant amounts of rain in our municipality."

Pepe Caballé · Councillor for Public Works
The current project, commissioned to the company Patran Costa Dorada SL, has a total cost of 102,605.58 euros. Of this amount, the majority, 99,228.90 €, is subsidized by the Diputació de Tarragona (Provincial Council of Tarragona), thus minimizing the economic impact on municipal coffers.
The actions focus on essential roads for accessing agricultural farms and scattered areas, including the roads of López, Vinaixarop, Capblanca, Badia, Granges d’Albesa, and Fortets. The council plans to continue with new road network repair and improvement works throughout 2026.
