Junts per Tortosa to hold 2nd Congress on March 21, focusing on 2027 elections

Junts per Tortosa will hold its 2nd Congress on March 21, preceded by sectoral work sessions to define the city project ahead of the 2027 municipal elections.

The work sessions, which will take place during February and March, are open to the public and aim to develop an updated diagnosis of the capital of Baix Ebre. These sessions will gather input from members, sympathizers, and citizens in general.

The structure of the sessions is divided into 11 different areas, ranging from security and civics, social action, culture and festivals, to economy, urban planning, environment, tourism, education, sports, immigration management, and the EMD (Minor Local Entities) and villages.
The president of Junts per Tortosa and municipal spokesperson, Meritxell Roigé, emphasized that this process reflects the formation's desire to be inclusive. During the congress, the conclusions of these working groups will be presented, along with the party's new executive committee.
This will be the second congress of the political group, following the first held in February 2022, when it was established with the exclusive goal of working for Tortosa and its surrounding villages.
