The municipal group Movem Tortosa, led by Jordi Jordan, has launched the ‘A peu de carrer’ participatory process to collect proposals and concerns from residents until summer.

The initiative, which starts this week with meetings in the different neighborhoods and villages of Tortosa, aims to bring councillors closer to the citizens to hear improvement ideas in the final stretch of the mandate. The coordinator of Movem Tortosa, Jordi Jordan, highlighted that the project seeks to reinforce participation in an accessible and close format.

"We have always been characterized by making listening and participation a banner of our daily life, and now we continue in this line to collect demands and proposals from the citizens."

The first meeting of the cycle will take place next Wednesday, February 4, in the Ferreries neighborhood. The event will be held starting at 5 PM at Cafeteria Malla, located opposite the municipal stadium, where Jordan and the rest of the team will attend to citizens.
After two and a half years in office, Jordan stressed that, despite the work done, much remains to be accomplished. Therefore, the group wants to intensify direct contact, emphasizing that “politics must be close and must respond to the concerns of the people of Tortosa”.
