Amaré, who has a background in social work and neuroscience, structures Dona i Essència based on roots and memory to build a contemporary narrative. The project makes visible the voices of women who have transformed silence and pain into strength and collective consciousness.
This initiative is defined as transversal and intergenerational, connecting established artists with young creators in the final phase of training across the Terres de l'Ebre. This collaboration fosters knowledge transfer and networking.
“"We need female role models and projects like this, which contribute to giving visibility to women and, furthermore, do so from a territorial perspective, helping culture reach everyone."
The first phase of Dona i Essència takes shape as a multidisciplinary show featuring the voices of 13 women. Beyond art, the project has a clear pedagogical vocation, collaborating with educational centers and institutions to strengthen the link between culture and community.
