The incident was reported around 2:30 PM (14:30h) via the 112 emergency line. According to the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters), the owner's quick response was crucial in containing the situation.
The woman successfully extinguished the fire herself before emergency crews arrived. Nevertheless, four fire units were dispatched to the residence to inspect the affected area.
The firefighters' task focused on ensuring there were no remaining hot spots that could potentially reignite the blaze in the property.
The Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) treated the victim, who had minor injuries, and transported her by ambulance to the Hospital de les Terres de l'Ebre for further evaluation.
