The Baix Empordà County Council established a new Concerted Action Group (GAC) this Friday in la Bisbal d'Empordà to strengthen cooperation between public and private cultural stakeholders.

This initiative aims to consolidate the region as a major Cultural Hub in Catalonia. The first meeting, held at the Brava Arts headquarters, brought together local authorities and private entities to improve the coordination of artistic events and enhance the value of the region's archaeological and monumental heritage.

"This is a very important step to provide tangible solutions to cultural entities."

Enric Marquès · President of the Baix Empordà County Council
The group discussed successful local projects such as Calonge, Poble de Llibres and the MAP de Palafrugell. This GAC is the second strategic group created in the region, following the Blue Economy group launched last November, with a third group focused on small villages expected to launch soon.
