The Department of Territory is launching the Clic.cat on-demand transport service starting Monday, significantly improving mobility for 31 population centers in the Baix Ter area.

This new mobility offering, managed by the Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition, will improve accessibility to 31 population centers spread across 12 municipalities in the Baix Empordà region. The service will be centered at the CAP (Primary Care Center) in Torroella de Montgrí and will cover the Baix Ter Basic Health Area.

"This new on-demand service improves the quality of life for residents of Baix Ter, offering flexible, accessible mobility adapted to the real needs of the population."

Sílvia Paneque · Minister of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition
The new network will strengthen connections between municipalities and centers such as L'Estartit, Gualta, Verges, Colomers, and Torroella de Montgrí. Users can request trips through the free mobile application NE-MI or by telephone call.
The on-demand transport will operate from Monday to Saturday, offering six daily trips (three round trips), with schedules designed to cover labor, educational, and commercial needs. It is expected to handle over 8,000 trips during the first year, aiming to reach 12,000 annual passengers starting in 2027.
This flexible model allows connection with the Torroella de Montgrí bus station and other interurban bus lines like AMPSA and SARFA, facilitating travel to other municipalities in Baix Empordà, as well as to Girona or Barcelona.
