A cyclist was seriously injured this morning after falling while riding with a group on a forest track in Ullastret. The incident occurred at 8:56 AM.
Two fire department units were dispatched to the scene and located the injured man. According to the Catalan Fire Department, he had significant bruises. He was evacuated by ambulance to Trueta Hospital in serious but not critical condition.
According to sources present at the outing, another member of the group also fell, sustaining only scratches, and was taken to the CAP de la Bisbal d'Empordà.
