The town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, located in the Baix Empordà region, has experienced the consequences of a heavy downpour this Monday. The torrential rains have caused one of the municipality's roundabouts to become completely submerged in water, creating an unusual situation.
Images shared on social media show the roundabout under a significant accumulation of water, which has hampered traffic and caused concern among residents. Despite the intensity of the rain, no major damage or severe infrastructure impact has been reported.
This episode of intense rainfall is part of a day marked by meteorological instability in various parts of Catalonia, with other towns in Gironès and Baix Empordà also recording notable precipitation.
