Four hooded individuals carried out a new violent assault at a home in Sant Feliu de Guíxols on January 14, where they tied up and threatened the owner to steal money, jewelry, and a mobile phone.

The events took place in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, in the Baix Empordà region, when the assailants entered the victim's house by accessing the garden. Once inside, they demanded that the owner hand over the money he had.
According to sources close to the investigation, the thieves threatened the man with a blunt object, although they did not carry any visible firearm. After searching the entire dwelling, they fled with jewelry, cash, and the victim's mobile phone.

The Mossos d'Esquadra have reinforced patrolling in the area due to the succession of violent assaults recently recorded in the region.

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) have opened an investigation to clarify the facts and determine if there is a connection with other similar attacks that have recently occurred in the region, such as the assault registered a few days ago in Calella de Palafrugell.
