The successful program El Foraster, hosted by Quim Masferrer, will broadcast a new episode tonight on TV3 from Begur, on the Costa Brava, where the presenter will take on various local challenges.

The municipality of Begur, known for its coves and privileged landscapes, will be the setting for Masferrer's new adventures. The host will be captivated by locals who maintain a playful and lively spirit, which they themselves define as “100% bacanard”.

In Palafrugell and the surrounding areas, they used to tell us that we, the bacanards of Begur, lived here, the short-witted ones.

Among the episode's highlights is the scene where Quim Masferrer accepts Leila's challenge and enters the freezing water to swim with the rest of the town's “mermaids”. The host will complain that the water is 12 degrees, but he will complete the challenge.
During his stay, Masferrer will also meet Carlus, a warden who patrols the town with a police whistle, and Ernest, with whom he will discuss the advantages of some stairs that, according to him, should have “worldwide recognition”. He will also encounter the retired couple Rosa and Rogeli, and Riqui, who leads a children's activity designed to reconnect with nature.
The visit to Begur will culminate with an “unforgettable” sunrise with a curious group of hikers and a “baptism” on the boat of the town's last fisherman. The audience hopes the episode will surpass last week's record, when the visit to Brunyola achieved a 24.6% screen share and 436,000 average viewers.
