Rental prices soar in Baix Emporda with a 4.5% increase

The region recorded the highest rise in the Girona province during the third quarter of 2025.

Baix Emporda has become the region in Girona where rental housing prices increased the most during the third quarter of 2025, according to the Institut Catala del Sol.

The Incasol report shows that the average monthly rent in the region rose from 686 euros to 718 euros. This 4.49% increase occurred during the peak summer months, placing Baix Emporda ahead of Alt Emporda.
Palafrugell saw the highest local spike at 15.5%, while Santa Cristina d'Aro experienced a significant drop of 26.2%. La Bisbal d'Emporda remains the most affordable town with an average rent of 507 euros.
