The SOS Costa Brava federation has denounced the opening of a sanctioning file by the Department of Interior, proposing a 300 euro fine, following the peaceful protest held in October at Cap Roig, in Palafrugell.

The notification, dated January 22, attributes to the federation an alleged minor infraction of the Citizen Security Law for failing to communicate the concentration beforehand. The proposed penalty amounts to 300 euros.
The protest action, carried out last October, aimed to denounce the cuts and non-compliance with the public route of the Camí de Ronda between Golfet and Cap Roig, a problem the entity describes as historical.

Sanctioning mobilizations of this type can have a dissuasive effect on citizen participation in the defense of the territory and natural heritage.

SOS Costa Brava confirmed that the action was entirely peaceful and incident-free, and reiterates its commitment to persistent action. The entity will study possible legal actions against the sanction while continuing to use all legal avenues to achieve the complete recovery of the Camí de Ronda.
