The 2026 Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will start for the fifth consecutive year from Sant Feliu de Guíxols

The 105th edition of the men's race will begin on March 23, while the women's race will take place in June, finishing in Cerdanya.

The 2026 Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will start its 105th men's edition on March 23 in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, hosting the start and finish of the first stage for the fifth year running.

The men's race, which is part of the UCI WorldTour calendar, will begin in Sant Feliu de Guíxols with a route including the climbs of Romanyà and Sant Hilari. The following day, the stage will move from Figueres to Banyoles, crossing municipalities in the Alt Empordà and Garrotxa regions.
The race's presence in the Girona demarcation will conclude on the fourth stage with a high mountain finish at Vallter, in Ripollès, featuring a special category final ascent. The event will feature world-class figures such as Jonas Vingegaard, Remco Evenepoel, João Almeida, and Tom Pidcock.

The women's Volta, scheduled from June 19 to 21, will also play a prominent role in the Girona regions. The second stage, covering 130 kilometers, will finish at La Molina, in Cerdanya. Participating teams will include the Massi Baix Ter Women’s Team, based in Torroella de Montgrí.
