The Castelldefels local government carried out a total of 35 repair and maintenance actions on urban infrastructure during the second half of January 2026. These actions are part of the municipal commitment to maintain public spaces in optimal condition and ensure accessibility.
The priority of the interventions has been sidewalk repair, with 17 different points in the municipality affected by this task, including work on Passeig del Bosque and Passeig Pitort. This work is essential to guarantee the safety and mobility of pedestrians in the city.
These actions reflect the continuous effort of the council to improve public space, ensuring a safe and accessible urban environment for all residents and visitors.
In addition to sidewalks, other works were carried out, such as the replacement of pylons on streets like Agustina d'Aragó and Santa Marta, the repair of ramps at Plaza Juan XXIII, and the patching of potholes in the roadway. Auxiliary work was also performed, such as removing a sign on Avenida Manuel Girona to facilitate the installation of a new bus shelter. All actions respond both to needs detected by technical services and to citizen requests.
