The L'Hospitalet City Council has enhanced security for the traditional Three Kings Parade, an event that attracts large crowds, in collaboration with the Guàrdia Urbana (Local Police), Civil Protection volunteers, and other emergency services. Authorities urge citizens to follow a series of practical tips to minimize any risk.
Before attending, citizens are advised to pay attention to official information and prioritize the use of public transport. It is also crucial to wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing, especially in case of intense cold. For group safety, it is essential to locate emergency exits and establish a meeting point outside the concentration area.
Regarding families with children, authorities emphasize the importance of keeping them close and explaining how to act if they get separated. Minors are advised to carry visible documentation and, if lost, to immediately seek help from a Guàrdia Urbana officer or a volunteer.
During the parade route, it is vital to follow conduct rules: do not climb railings or containers, stay behind safety barriers, and, above all, do not step onto the road to pick up dropped candy. Furthermore, approaching or attempting to climb the floats at any time is prohibited.
Finally, once the celebration is over, the area must be left in an orderly manner, always respecting the instructions of the security personnel. The City Council's goal is to ensure a festive and safe celebration for all attendees.
