The Local Police of Corbera de Llobregat started using mobile speed radars in January 2026 to identify vehicles exceeding speed limits in critical areas of the municipality.

This measure will be implemented periodically and addresses the concern expressed by residents regarding reckless driving on several key municipal roads in the Baix Llobregat region.
The areas where surveillance will be intensified include the Passeig dels Arbres, the Carretera de Sant Andreu, the industrial zone, the Carretera del Bonrepòs, and the Callejón Rafamans, points identified as high-risk.

The intention is to increase surveillance in critical points and thus reduce incidents related to inappropriate speed.

The use of these devices is the result of collaboration with the Servei Català de Trànsit (Catalan Traffic Service) and aims not only to penalize offenders but also to raise awareness among drivers about the importance of respecting limits to ensure the safety of all road users in Corbera de Llobregat.
