The business association AEBALL and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) established a new partnership this Friday to align academic talent with the industrial needs of Baix Llobregat.

The agreement focuses on three main areas: direct connection between students and companies, boosting R&D through joint projects, and developing continuous professional training. This includes internships, industrial doctorates, and access to university scientific infrastructure for local firms.

"The UPC is an essential strategic partner for the industrial future of our territory."

Santiago Ballesté · President of AEBALL
Presented during the Llobregat Business Forum with Rector Francesc Torres, the alliance also integrates the university into AeroS, the regional aerospace ecosystem, to foster high-value employment and technological growth in the southern metropolitan area.
