The Begues City Council has introduced a new free service called Connecta en Gran, aimed at helping local senior citizens access municipal information more easily through their smartphones.

At the heart of the project is the Bleta application, which enhances mobile accessibility by displaying notifications and reminders with large text and images. This tool is designed to simplify how the elderly receive and manage important local updates.
Currently available for Android systems, the app provides direct links to the BeguesApp and the Espai Nou website. This allows users to stay informed about municipal activities and news through a single, user-friendly interface.
To support residents with the new technology, the Espai Nou community center provides assistance via telephone at 936 392 082. Support is available on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
