The Castelldefels City Council has opened the registration period for the 38th Sant Jordi Photography Contest, inviting photographers to explore the visual concept of shadows until April 2nd.

Supported by the local Experimental Photography Group, the competition features two main categories. A color category is dedicated to Castelldefels residents, while a black and white, inks, and tones category is open to participants from all over Spain.
Prizes for the national category include 200 euros for the winner, while the local color category offers a top prize of 100 euros. All selected works will be part of an exhibition at the Margarida Xirgu Hall.
The jury's decision will be revealed on April 24th at the Ramon Fernández Jurado Library. The subsequent exhibition will run until May 9th, showcasing the best photographic talent from the region and beyond.
