The city of Castelldefels is set to improve urban connectivity in September 2026 with a new 200-square-meter pedestrian bridge linking the Skate Park and Canal Olímpic avenue.

This infrastructure project, costing 700.000 euros, is fully funded by the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB). The bridge will feature ramps and stairs to provide a safer and more direct route for pedestrians and sports facility users near the railway lines.
Construction is scheduled to comply with Adif railway regulations due to its proximity to the tracks. The works are expected to last between four and six months, significantly enhancing the integration of local urban spaces.
