This neighborhood has been the subject of major police operations in recent years. One of the most notable took place in 2023, when a marijuana plantation was dismantled that consumed an amount of electricity equivalent to that of 174 apartments. Municipal sources considered that action effective, as since then, a decrease in electricity consumption in the area has been observed, suggesting a reduction in illegal plantations.
