The SEMAF union has officially cancelled the strike at Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya scheduled for March 2nd to 4th, guaranteeing transport during the Mobile World Congress.

The cancellation ensures that the Barcelona-Vallès and Llobregat-Anoia lines will operate normally. The latter will see a significant increase in service to accommodate the high volume of visitors traveling to the Fira Gran Via venue in L'Hospitalet.
FGC's special plan for the MWC includes 30 additional daily trains on the L8 line. Furthermore, train capacity will be doubled from three to six cars per convoy to facilitate the six-minute journey between Pl. Espanya and Europa | Fira.
Security and contingency plans have been coordinated with the Mossos d'Esquadra police force and GSMA organizers. Extra staff will be deployed at key stations to manage passenger flow and provide information to international attendees.
