The town of Martorell ended 2025 with a rate of 212.5 violent robberies per 100,000 inhabitants, surpassing major tourist hubs like Marbella or Ibiza.

According to the Ministry of the Interior's latest Crime Balance, this Baix Llobregat municipality ranks 35th among Spanish cities with over 20,000 residents. Notably, its crime rate is two points higher than that of Madrid.
A total of 62 violent robbery cases were reported in 2025, representing a 3.3% increase compared to 2024. This data places the town 21st in Catalonia, significantly above the national average of 126 cases per 100,000 people.
