The ceremony, scheduled for 5:00 PM, will feature children's activities and a traditional community chocolate feast. The renovation focused on removing architectural barriers and installing modern playground equipment with safety rubber flooring. New street furniture, a new fountain, and updated irrigation systems have also been integrated into the space.
The project extended to several surrounding streets, including Tenor Palet, where works completed in early 2025 introduced energy-efficient lighting and new green areas. Additionally, streets such as Lluís de Requesens and Doctor Trueta have been upgraded with granite sidewalks to prioritize pedestrian safety and comfort.
This initiative follows the 2024 renovation of Lluís Rigalt Square. The local administration aims to transform Martorell's urban landscape into a more sustainable 'climate shelter,' promoting social cohesion through high-quality public spaces.
