The Olesa de Montserrat City Council will start the second phase of the Francesc Macià Avenue remodeling in late February, featuring a 1,173,000 euro investment.

Mayor Marc Serradó announced that the project will focus on the section between Rambla de Catalunya and Pintor Fortuny street. The works aim to modernize urban services and expand sidewalks to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility.

"This transformation is a priority for the government team due to its significant impact on both vehicles and pedestrians."

The nine-month project includes new sewerage, lighting, and the planting of trees with automatic irrigation. Traffic will be diverted during the two construction phases to minimize local disruption.
